If you are reading this story then you know Ellie, have met Ellie or at least seen one of the hundreds of photos I have posted on social media. Last night Ellie got into a horrific fight with her newly adopted sister. It took me several minutes to separate them.
I immediately rushed her to the hospital, dropped her off and went to pick up her sister so she could also be seen. After a long and stressful event, I found myself covered in tears and mostly blood.
Ellie did not fair well. She has multiple lacerations, loss of blood and worst of all, her front left leg was completely broken. Shattered in multiple places. I stayed the night with her in the hospital and we’re now seeing a specialist in Culver City who is prepping her for surgery.
If you know me personally, you know the personal problems I have had this past year (Burglary, Identify Theft, Bank Hacking etc). But this is the worst it’s been.
I reach out to all of you now, to my friends, my family, friends of friends, random Instagram followers and Co-workers. The financial burden of this is close to putting us over the edge. The ever increasing medical costs, but also the rehab. Finally, we need to hire a professional trainer to help train them, but mostly train me so we make sure that nothing this ever happens again. We reach out to anyone who has smiled because of Ellie, anyone who has been fortunate enough to let a pet change their lives for the good. Any help is greatly appreciated.
