On Monday, July 1st, my wife Rebecca and I received some of the most terrifying news parents could ever receive: our sweet 22 month old had a cancerous tumor behind her right eye and needed to be treated right away. Her right eye had been fluttery and shaky and we thought it might be weak muscle or something much less serious than it actually was. 

Since then we have learned that her diagnosis is Retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer that occurs in young children and we will be traveling often from Fresno to Stanford for checkups under anesthesia as well as her cancer treatments that will also be administered under anesthesia. The prognosis is good, but with all the travel that we will be doing and the fact that currently we are living on a teacher's salary only, we are humbly asking for help.


If you've met Ellie, you probably love her. Everyone that meets her does. She deserves everything good in this world and both her mothers are ready to fight this illness, but we need some help to stay afloat. Thank you in advance for your kindness.
