UPDATE: Shane is keeping me updated!! Ellie’s about the same. Her fever is gone again-Praise God. Counts continue to drop. We are a week in now. Hopefully we will start to see some improvement in the next 7 days!! I miss seeing her sweet face so much!

Say a prayer for me as well. I will not get to take any time off for my surgery, other than today. I will go back tomorrow. (Trying to save my pto and little bit of FMLA I do have for my girl) I hope and pray I make it through tomorrow. I’m blessed in the fact I work from home.

UPDATE: last week Caysen (age 3) Ellie’s brother, was admitted to Vanderbilt hospital for staph infection and scalding skin syndrome. They have been at Vanderbilt with him for almost a week receiving treatment. While admitted , Nikki, (mom) was rushed to the adult ER at Vanderbilt and is currently having emergency gallbladder removal surgery for inflamed and infected gallbladder.

This is such an extreme trying time for this family. Both children sick, stuck at Vanderbilt, and mom undergoing surgery. I ask for your prayers strength and to please donate what the lord leads you. They have already missed a week of work with no discharge date from Vanderbilt at this time.

Hello, as most of you know our sweet Ellie is 5 years old and was diagnosed with B cell Leukemia (ALL). This was a complete shock and very sudden. We know that God is bigger than cancer and we are believing for a complete healing and miracle.

This will be a long journey for Ellie, Shane, and Nikki. Fighting this battle will come with difficulties with chemo, multiple hospital stays, and overall worry and concern. We are hoping with this gofundme we can help alleviate some of the financial burden that Shane and Nikki will endure.
