On December 7th, Elliana Raine Finney was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor and sent to Texas Children’s Hospital Houston. She spent her 4th birthday in the hospital on December 9th. The stage three Wilms tumor and one of Ellie’s kidneys was removed on December 17th. She was able to return home to her family on the 21st to celebrate Christmas. Her first chemo treatment was the 29th. It was the first of 28 weeks worth of treatment. Ellie is doing well and her family is believing for a full recovery. However, they need relief for the medical bills, lost wages, parking and other expenses that will be incurred during the weekly hospital visits due to chemo. Radiation treatments will require daily visits. Ellie is our warrior child and her own personal faith in Jesus Christ has been her source of strength. Her life is a testament to the goodness of God!
