after over a year of dealing with the heinous-ness of the healthcare/insurance system, it’s time for elle’s gender affirming top-surgery on december 18th, yay !

there is a lot of fiscal responsibility associated with surgery and recovery. with the help of loving people, i have been able to put together this fundraising in order to help cover these costs and help me focus on healing while being unable to work for 6 weeks. the listed goal is to help cover my basic living expenses for one full month (rent, bills, meals).

p.s. my care was through the Los Angeles LGBT center and i will be getting my surgery at the kryger institute of plastic surgery. happy to have conversations about the process and my experience with anyone who is looking for similar care.
