Elle’s SRS surgery/transition fund

Hi everyone my name is Elle Vargas, today is my birthday and have gathered enough courage to take the next step of my transition, surgery. I have some money saved up but no where near the amount to cover surgery, flights, aftercare and housing accommodations. I have turned to crowd funding because I don’t want to burden my parents with this even more since I don’t have support from anyone in my family. I am the youngest of 7 children and I have never heard them say She/Her/Aunt/Sister. I am forced to be in a house where no one respects my identity, I am constantly dead named, and ridiculed. I know with time they will come around and this is just another obstacle I have to overcome to prove my womanhood, time and time again. If you are unable to contribute that is okay!!! Sharing this with your friends, family and peers can reach a bigger audience, and help a trans woman of color reach her goal.
