Ellen's Fight Fund

As many of you know, our dear friend Ellen has been out on medical leave from work and much of life's activities. It has been a hard and private battle over the last year for the DiPiazza's, but with Ellen's permission, I am sharing a little bit of her story in hopes of garnering support of friends and family to help her and Walter get through some tough times.

In November of last year, Ellen was diagnosed with brain cancer. She has undergone several different treatments in her battle, some of which have had life changing effects. So in addition to the rising medical expenses and Walter’s extended absences from work, the DiPiazza’s are now facing the challenging task of modifying their home to accommodate Ellen’s new physical needs.

This gofundme page is the collaborative idea of both Ellen and Walter’s work families who want to do what we can to help out. The financial needs for this beautiful family are growing daily, as is the case for all those who have fought the cancer battle. Our hope is to surpass our initial goal to assist and encourage Ellen and Walter. We hope that many of you will join us in this effort!
