Ellen's Australian Futsal selection - July 2022

Hi family and friends.
As some of you may know, in January Ellen played in the ACT Women's Youth futsal team at the Australian Futsal Association (AFA) National Championships in Brisbane. Ellen’s team played well through the competition and won the grand final. Following this, Ellen received an email from the AFA advising her of her selection in an Australian U20 Women's team. This team will participate in the prestigious Costa Blanca Cup in Spain in July this year. Since 5 years old, Ellen continues to pursue her love of football and for those who know her, the challenge is greater as she has Type 1 diabetes. However, this condition has not stopped her. In the past I have helped raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation but this time I am raising funds directly for Ellen.
