Ellen Collings

On Wednesday Oct 11th, our sweet Ellen Collings suffered a sudden heart attack while doing her favorite thing…having lunch with the love of her life, Tom. Although her passing was quick, the memory of her bright and bold energy is lasting. The family has been coming together to rally around Tom, Chad and Ryan and we thank you for the love and support so many of you have already been extending to them.

At this time we are asking that in lieu of flower donations you may instead help us support Tom as he covers funeral arrangements as well as help him tackle challenges he’s facing within the next month. The timing is especially trying as we were preparing him for a hip replacement surgery in early November. The loss of Ellen is felt deeply in his every day activity as she was his #1 life partner for over 50 years of marriage. Their love and devotion to each other was an aspiring example to all who knew them. Our hope is to alleviate some of the financial stress he’s managing on top of a broken heart.

Thank you for every phone call, text message, meal drop and friendly drive by that you’ve all been providing. I can see the strength carrying through to the boys and they are so grateful for each of you.
