Ellen and family- surviving after gunfire

I’m not sure if there are the right words to describe who Ellen is for the city of St. Louis and the people who know her. She is a caregiver. A loyal friend. She is an incredible dog mama and she is one of the best musicians in our city. She is also a victim of a senseless crime.
Our friend is not okay. She had 19 bullets fired into her house. She feels unsafe in a community who she puts first.
Belly and Ellen came within inches of getting hit.
Westley was shot 3 times.
She was holding Westley as he ran out of her arms out of fear as she was trying to get him in the car, but her house was covered with so much glass, and she was terrified and westly was in the house running away in fear.
How do you heal from this? She needs our help. And she needs it now.
