Hi, my name is Elle and I'm fundraising to relocate my small Pilates business.

After pouring my heart and soul into my business to save it from closure during covid times, I now find myself doing it all over again.

What should have been a joyful celebration of 10 years of business in Bristol has taken quite an unexpected turn and I'm still quite speechless about what happened at the end of March 2026.

For those of you who don't know, I was left with no choice but to leave the premises that I'd been in for 6 years on North Street and vacate extremely quickly due to safety concerns.

(Not) A fun fact, insurance for business disruption doesn't cover actual business disruption for things like this. Nor does it cover things being demanded or withheld for no good reason.

So here I find myself with a business to run and no where to run it from but thanks to some very swift action from everyone involved, I find myself returning to where I started my business in Bristol in 2016.

Any funds raised here will help with the following:

I'm doing my best to sell pieces of equipment that aren't needed in the new space to help raise funds.

I keep getting really excited about opening up a new studio space but it's really taken the wind out of my sails and breaks my heart to be in this current position.

To those of you who have rallied and encouraged me when I've felt so low about all of this, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I've set up this page because you want to do something to help our small Pilates community survive this unexpected challenge, I appreciate you all so much.
