Elle Cox:Hit by Driver after leaving Wedding

On Sunday, November 14th at 2pm my little sister Elle Cox was leaving a family wedding in Mexico. Along with her was her boyfriend, his mom, dad, and little brother. What seemed to be a peaceful weekend turned into a tragedy. As they were heading back home to Texas they were involved in a horrible car accident. Speeding down on the wrong side of the road was a woman driving who was responsible for the head on collision of my little sister, her boyfriend, his mom, dad, and little brother. Her small Honda impacted the SUV so immensely that everyone was rushed to the Emergency Room. As of now Elle is currently in critical condition. The seatbelt from the SUV played a huge role in all of this, not only did the seatbelt save her life but unfortunately it ripped her intestines and spleen. On top of all of this, the worst part of it all was that she lost a considerable amount of blood and suffered from internal bleeding. The Doctors in Saltillo Mexico proclaimed that she hardly survived the surgery. By the Grace of God she is still with us  and is still fighting for a full recovery. Our family, loved ones and friends are seeking support for Elle’s medical expenses. The recovery time for the surgery stated by the doctors in Mexico is a minimum of three weeks. The medical costs, emotional pain and suffering are tremendously costly. Our family appreciates all your help,support and prayers at this difficult and challenging time. Thank you.
