ELLA C. GIBSON

Life is about never giving up no matter what the obstacles are. For over 25 years, I have held strong to this belief. I'm still here and I'm still fighting. In 1993, I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and that year I entered the fight of my life. By the grace of God I have survived every test and trial and I'm still here to tell the story. In the last 4 months alone, I have been hospitalized numerous times. With the help of the Lord I have had the strength to keep fighting. At this point I am faced with a medical cardiac condition requiring surgical intervention of dire medical necessity. This major heart procedure will ultimately provide me a better life. A life with no more special occasions via Facetime with my grandsons. This year I MISSED my youngest grandson's kindergarten graduation and I want to be here for their primary, middle, high school, and college years. This procedure will bless me to have a more abundant life. A life that will allow me to be physically present for their future. A life that will allow me to have restful nights. A life where I can serve the Lord. A life where I can LIVE. Over the years my compromised heart condition has rendered me to be unable to work and greatly in need of financial assistance. In counting up the cost, the set goal will meet the needs for the procedure, my recovery, and necessary expenses. No amount given is too big or too small, and anything contributed is greatly appreciated.
