Ella's Extreme Mustang Makeover Fundraiser
Donation protected
This year I am exited to be competing in the Extreme Mustang Makeover- this is an event put on by the Mustang Heritage Foundation as a way to get youth involved with the BLM mustangs. This wonderful program has been responsible for getting nearly 5,000 mustangs out of holding and adopted. I will have 100 days to complete training on an untouched, yearling mustang. While I have adopted an untouched BLM mustang before, the Extreme Mustang Makeover is a new endeavor for me; one that I greatly look forward to. I am raising money to pay for the costs associated with keeping a young horse well cared for, healthy and happy. The money raised will cover the monthly boarding fee as well as supplies and equipment I will need throughout the training process. Pictured are my other mustangs: Mya and Imogen
Mya is a 12 year old mustang from the Jackson Mountains HMA in Nevada. I started working with her when she was green and inexperienced... she has come far. Mya has turned into a great cross country prospect and is shown every year at the Putnam county fair. She is the mustang that started it all for me; she got me interested in the mustangs and what they are capable of.
Imogen is a 7 year old sales authority mustang from the Diamond complex in Nevada. I went to Illinois in November of 2018 to pick Imogen up from the Ewing holding facility after purchasing her from the BLM's internet adoption. Imogen has been quite a project, as she is a very timid horse and lacks a lot of confidence. In her time with me she has become more relaxed and sociable and she has gained much more self-assurance. This spring or summer I am going to continue her training by starting her under saddle. I look forward to where she goes.
