Ella The Sweetest Little Pea

For those of you know Ella Donovan, she is truly “The Sweetest Little Pea”. You may know her parents, Tina and Donny or her big brother Angus. You may know her from school at Ladysmith Primary or from figure skating at Fuller Lake. But no matter how you know her, you know she has touched your heart.

Ella is heading to Vancouver this week for many months of chemotherapy and another surgery which is a lot for a family to endure. Tina and Donny have not asked for help but as friends, family and a community, it is times like this that we all come together to take as much of the stress off the family so that they can focus on healing. If you’d like to prepare meals, run errands, purchase a gift card for a restaurant, etc., it will all help immensely. Or, if you wish, feel free to donate which will help with travelling back and forth to Vancouver in the many months to come and take that added stress off of the family. 

Lastly and very importantly, each and every day that we count down the days to Christmas and the days that come after, send a positive thought, say a prayer, light a candle, send healing energy to Ella and her family."
