Ella Phoebe Wilson Memorial Cherry Blossom Tree

Hi, Our names are Marie and Pete.

Recently we lost our beautiful 3 year old daughter. Our brave little warrior fought hard for all her short life against Mitochondrial disease, which caused epilepsy, mitochondrial diabetes, failure to thrive amongst other difficult conditions.

In spite all of this, our gorgeous little girl loved life, smiled, giggled, was so cheeky.

She loved being outdoors, especially in the summer where she could see, touch and smell the flowers and trees.

As a family we therefore decided that the best tribute to her, rather than flowers which wither with time, we plant a beautiful cherry blossom tree that flowers year after year after year. That there will be something beautiful, like her soul for everyone to remember her by.

This gives everyone a chance to do something for her. If we exceed the target, the funds will be used to support her sibling's Maia and Alfie towards a nice trip somewhere where they can take "Ella Bear". A bear beautifully created by Ella's Nanny Elaine from Ella's sleepsuits. Which will go with us everywhere.

Please don't feel you must donate. This is not what it's for. We will be doing this for Ella either way, as I'm sure it would have been something she would have truly loved.
