Hi, my name is Matt Humm and i am trying to raise funds for Ella Odell to be able to hear the world clearly again. Richard Odell (Ellas Dad) has worked for Yourshield since we established in 2016. On the 3rd of August 2024, Yourshield employees will be participating in a 'walk to work' day where a 42 mile walking commute will be done to raise funds for this fantastic cause.

Ella unfortunately caught meningitis which resulted in her being put into a forced coma. A side effect of this was that she may lose her ability to hear and if untreated will result in full deafness.

The NHS has at least a 2 year waiting list just for an appointment to assess Ella so we are hoping to raise funds so that we can pay for private treatment to ensure a swift and full recovery with use of hearing aids.
