ELL (Ethan, Lucas, Lydia)
About 5 weeks ago, my brother-in-law went into cardiac arrest and was in a coma due to lack of oxygen to the brain. On the 4th day, we were told that he would never wake up and “having hope and praying for a miracle can only hurt more than help.” Hearing that news made all of our hearts shattered. After 2.5 weeks, he went from a coma to a vegetative coma. With his wife and loved ones by his side every day, my brother-in-law shows us that miracles does happen because he woke up! Despite doubts from the doctors and nurses, he is improving every day. Though, he does have a long road to recovery! I would like to do this fundraiser for my sister and their 3 children(ages 8,6,1) so that she could continue to care for them while their dad and the love of her life is fighting for his life!
Ethan, their 8yrs old son, would like to give some of his days to his dad so that he could return home sooner. Lucas is 6 years old with diasablities and need both of his parents. Lydia just turned 1. They all missed their dad very much. They miss him dropping them off and picking them up from school every day. They miss building a fort in their living room with their dad and tucking them in at night.
In the meantime, kiss and hug your loved ones and tell them how much you love them because you never know when that opportunity can be taken from you!
