Monday, November 24th, the absolute love of my life and best friend, Andrew Clements, was life-flighted to UofU for a pulmonary embolism.

Andrew has worked at a local mine supply company (Elko Tool & Fastener) his entire working life and helps keep countless mine sites running smoothly. If you work at the mines, have friends or family that work at the mines, chances are you've handled something Andy and his work have provided.

Andy has lived in Elko his entire life, and we have lived in Elko as a family for the last 10 years. We've seen how the community can come together to help their own.

We are currently a single-income family and this has hit us hard. The medical bills are coming in quick and heavy.

I am grateful that tonight, Andy is still with me… and that his children didn’t lose their best buddy that night.
