Elizabeth's Step Challenge

Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I have MND. I have three daughters, one son, their spouses and eight beautiful grandchildren. I now live with my son and his family. My symptoms began in 2002 with my balance. I didn't see a neurologist until 2004 with an MND diagnosis in 2009. My type of MND is slow and progressive, called PLS (Primary Lateral Sclerosis). At home I use an electric wheelchair which allows me to move around and do small tasks. I also walk a little with a rollater, aided by my carers and family.

I have decided to try and raise much needed funds for MNDA NI as they have been a much needed support to myself and my family over the years. The money raised will be for the Northern Ireland Branch, helping families like mine.

I have decided to take part in a daily step challenge for the month of November, I am aiming to do 300 steps per day using my rollater. I will post regular updates on my progress. Please support me if you can!

Thanks
Elizabeth
