Elizabeth's PNET Cancer FIGHT

Elizabeth is a 44 yr old woman who has recently been diagnosed with a malignant Neuroendocrine Tumor in the head of her Pancreas. The occurrence rate of these tumors in this location is roughly 1 in 10million. With that being said there are not a whole lot of Dr's that treat these tumors locally where she lives so she is being treated at Stanford Comprehensive Cancer Center in Cupertino, Ca. Elizabeth lives in Southern California so she has to fly up to Stanford in Northern California every 3-6 months for scans and eventually a Whipple procedure to remove the tumor. A scan at Stanford is approx $12,000.00.The recurrence rate of these tumors even after surgery is quite high. I know Elizabeth would be so appreciative of your prayers during this time and if you are in a position to give financially, I know that would bless her so much.
