           I am Elizabeth and i turning to all of you for the last hope of find help and comfort. I live in Washington State as most of you know and my parents live in Manteca,Ca. over 10 hours driving away. This last month in February was extremely hard on my mother Elizabeth/

Only some of you might know that my mother was rushed in for emergency Gallbladder surgery last month on February 7,2017. She was taken by ambulance to Manteca Kaiser Hospital for heavy vomiting and was extremely sick. After doing testing they came to the conclusion that her gallbladder would have to be removed. That is when she was transferred to Modesto Kaiser Hospital to have the routeing procedure. This is where she had a exploratory surgery that last 2 hours long, to see if she had gallbladder stones that might be causing her all the discomfort and pain. After her exploratory surgery the doctor and my mom Elizabeth made up her mind that the gallbladder will have to be removed. From her exploratory surgery it caused her bilirubin in her blood to be high causing her to postpone her gallbladder removal surgery by 3 days. In that time she stayed at Modesto Kaiser Hospital. Her Gallbladder surgery was scheduled on February 11, 2017 which is where they came into complications that made the surgery last about 5 hours. In short terms her gallbladder was removed but in the process of removing the gallbladder the bile duct was cut because the gallbladder had a lot of scare tissue around it which caused the gallbladder to attached itself to the bile duct. The Bile duct is the duct that conveys bile from the liver and the gallbladder to the small intestine. To fully removed the gallbladder the doctor was given no choice but to cut this duct. And by doing so cause more problem to recover properly. That same day on February 11 she was rushed into emergency surgery to have a temporary tube to be installed to drain any excess bile or fluid which what the Bile duct was suppose to be doing. This was a temporary fix. Within 2 more days the doctors came to the conclusion they would be going in for a 4th surgery and in this surgery they would be taking the temporary drainage tube and inserting to the liver in hopes that the Bile Duct would heal itself. The doctor later that day after the 4th surgery that did a ultrasound to check on the tube and that is when they found that the tube had actually dislodged itself from the original location where it was first positioned. That became serious because the bile was still leaking inside her and it was causing her to become very ill and sick because of the excess fluid/vile building up inside her. So because of this leakage they determined to do the 5th surgery to clean and clear out the bile that was building up inside her which was successful. She not out of the woods 100% and still needs her Bile Duct corrected. She was able to finally come home on 22nd of February after being in the hospital for 16 long days. She is now being referred to see specialist located in San Francisco which is over 3 hours away from where they live in Manteca,Ca. She is still extremely ill, hardly can eat due to nausea. She went to her consultation to meet her doctor and talk about the upcoming 6th surgery to fix the duct on February 28th, 2017. This trip alone took over 3 hours to get to San Francisco by 9 am. Then the trip home the SAME day took almost 4 hours because of the traffic and the lengthy drive. As some of you know my mother is one of the sweetest human beings that walk this earthy and they financially maxed out. Due to the long distance away they are going to need to stay in a hotel close to the hospital in San Francisco the night before the 6th surgery which was scheduled on March 8th, 2017. Due to the surgery my mothers husband Richard will need to stay close to her and could possibly need to stay at the hotel for a minimum of 5 days. I starting a go fund me to ask for any amount of donations to help go towards a hotel stay, gas to get to and from San Francisco, and meals in between. Any amount that you can donate would changed this situation for them. We are needing to raise the money before March 8th,2017 because that is when they will be needing the hotel and all above items I described. As I explained above I live over 10 hours away and after checking flights it is just not in my manageable budget to fly down to them and help in anyway possible.
