Elizabeth's Tuition

Hello everyone,

Thank you in advance for donating to this worthy cause. For the starters, this "gofund me" has nothing to do with me but has everything to do with someone I care about. Elizabeth is a freshman in college who has a dream of working in the legal industry in the very near future. However,this aspiration is being threatened because of the inability of her family to take care of her school expenses. 

Elizabeth is a reserved but assertive person who despite her very humble financial background has worked so hard to further her education. She came to Mount Holyoke College with sponsorship promises but her educational dreams were shattered when her sponsor pulled out due to unforeseen business financial difficulties, causing the collapse of his company. 

She dreams of becoming a lawyer and philanthropist. Growing up in an area where justice is only afforded by the rich, she aspires to make her education in law a blessing to the oppressed who deserve justice but cannot afford it. 

Regarding her philanthropist goals, she often says, "I have watched several brilliant but needy students have their educational lives severed and I have felt the pain in that too. I will do everything in my means to make sure that money does not stand in the way of education". Elizabeth avidly believes that money should not be a determinant of quality and level of education.

She enrolled at Mount Holyoke, after receiving a generous amount of financial aid. Elizabeth, as well as many alums of Mount Holyoke believe that the quality of education and the liberal arts training offered cannot be compared to other educational institutions and it would serve her well to continue her schooling there, which will be a springboard to achieving her higher goals.

"I have learned to give not because I have much, but because i know exactly how it feels to have nothing"
