On her birthday, October 10, Elizabeth fainted while on the down escalator at Midway Airport in Chicago. She was on her way to Atlanta to meet up with her family, including her 7 year old son. She never made it. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital. She was hospitalized for 4 days and sent to a recovery home for another week before returning home.
Due to the accident and a severe concussion, Elizabeth is unable to work, and cannot drive. This accident has effected all aspects of her life. It is her daughters senior year of high school and her son is homeschooled. Elizabeth is struggling to support her daughter during the college application process and to teach her son during the day.
Since she owns a business, she is self insured. Much of her hospital stay was not covered. Her daughter also goes to private school and tuition is due monthly.
Elizabeth is our sister. She supports and encourages all of us. Let us reciprocate the love she has shown us by contributing to this cause.
Thank you in advance.
