Hi. My daughter, Elizabeth Larson, and her partner Ami, lost everything to an electrical fire in their home on Tuesday, Aug 23, near Tacoma, Washington. They were only able to get out with just the clothes on their backs and a cell phone. Also, they cannot find their pet cat, and fear it may have perished in the fire. They have no renter's insurance. And, though the landlord's insurance should cover the fire, I seriously doubt it will provide any compensation to Liz and Amy.

Regardless, since they lost everything, they need immediate help for temporary housing, food, and clothing. I've been able to help some, but it's not near enough to provide for all of their needs.
