Elizabeth for Miss NJ USA – Beauty Beyond Hair

I’m Elizabeth Sevigny, and I’m competing in Miss New Jersey USA this April to represent women with health-related hair loss and challenge beauty standards. Losing my hair due to alopecia and autoimmune disease has been a difficult journey—one I’m still navigating. But stepping onto this stage is part of my healing, resilience, and self-acceptance.

As a mother, I want to set an example of strength and confidence, showing my daughter—and anyone who has ever felt different—that beauty is defined by faith, purpose, and perseverance, not by hair.

This pageant is more than a competition. It’s a platform to stand boldly in who I am and inspire others to do the same. I’m raising $2,000 to cover sponsorship fees and competition costs, allowing me to step forward fully prepared to represent this mission.
