It is with such heart ache that we have to write this but on Sunday 27th April the Farmer family lost our beloved Elizabeth “betty” Farmer suddenly.
For those that knew Betty, she was a kind, loving woman with a great smile and huge heart. Betty’s suffered a stroke few years ago and her health was never a battle that stopped her from fighting. Betty was being cared for by her children and they have all been a care givers to her over the last few years more so her daughter Clare who was with her right to the end.
Betty was always saying that she was a fighter and not even her children were too big for a slap and she would shuffle around her living room saying they will have to take me kicking and screaming, giving us a little jig to show that even though she wasn’t to good on her feet she still had rhythm and a sense of humour.
Anyone who met betty was always welcomed with open arms and
We have set up this go fund me for those who knew Betty and had the opportunity to have her in our lives to please consider donating to help relieve some of the financial hardship on the family towards funeral cost and the upkeep of keeping Betty’s home where she spent her last few years so the family will always have her home.
Any amount helps and is much appreciated. Thank you
