Dear Family & Friends,

Our beloved friend and teammate from the Sonoma State Women's Basketball Program, Elizabeth Gomez, "E-Day," was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma (cancer of the lymphatic system) in September 2019. While this news has been devastating for many of us as teammates, friends, family, & loved ones, our hope is to provide support for E-Day and her family, Mitchell (Husband), Charlotte (3 yr. old daughter), & Evangeline (1 yr. old daughter) while Elizabeth undergoes her 6 months of chemotherapy.

In this fight against cancer, we are seeking your help! While our goal is to raise $10,000, any contribution you'd be willing to donate would be greatly appreciated! All of the money raised would go directly to The Gomez Family for financial and medical support.

As E-Day begins a journey ahead, we all know that she has wrapped herself in the strength, love, and satisfaction of our Lord Jesus Christ and as the 'founder and perfector of our faith' (Hebrews12) and E-Day is in good hands through Him. "For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." (V. 11).

As a group of young women who came together as a team and called one another family, we seek to uplift her furthermore with our love providing support for her and her family. E-Day was always there to offer genuine kinship, motherly yet unconditional love, a good laugh, advice, a listening ear, and support far greater than the average individual. It's now our turn to give that love back to E-Day and her family.

We look forward to your help joining us in the fight against cancer and we thank you in advance for your contribution, love, & support!!

ps. we understand that not everyone will be able to make a contribution so we kindly ask that you forward to friends, family, and loved ones who would be willing to help.

Thank you & God bless!!

Sincerely,

The 2012-2013 Sonoma State Women's Basketball Program!
