Liz went for her "first ever" mammogram a short time ago.....and unfortunately "spots" on her breast tissue were discovered. Tests were run, and by now you know the rest.....a diagnosis of Breast Cancer! She is scared, but facing this as bravely as possible.

Liz has always "been there" for her many friends, assisting when & where she could.....as a Coach and "Cheer Mom" for the Junior Chargers Football Team ( with Emily AND Molly ), a Girl Scout Leader, back stage "assistant" (wherever needed) for Dundee Middle School and Dundee Crown school musical productions, a Dundee Crown Dance Team "Mom" with Emily - helping the coaches with a variety of projects as needed, a volunteer for the Dundee Twp Lions Club in their fundraising efforts, and NOW, as the "Lunch Lady" at Dundee Highlands Elementary School......she is known and loved by the students and the staff whom she sees each day during the school year. For the past several years, she has also been "Lizzy the Elf" for Santa's home visits (keeping him cool & calm between stops).

She is now facing an uphill fight against the dreaded enemy - Breast Cancer AND mounting medical bills and those expenses that insurance doesn't always cover.
