Elizabeth Barlow Sharing is Caring

Elizabeth Barlow is our beautiful friend who unfortunately has been diagnosed with a Glioblastoma which is a very aggressive malignant grade 4 brain tumor.

Elizabeth is not only a wonderful friend to us, she is also mummy to Violet, her gorgeous 7 year old daughter, who she idolises making her situation even more heart breaking. Family means everything to Elizabeth, and she waited longer than most girls to have Violet which she co parents with Violets dad, Graham. Graham has been Elizabeth and Violets rock over the past few weeks.

In the past few months Elizabeth has lost her younger brother Stuart, has found out her beloved mum Carole has got cancer and now has the shattering news that she herself has a malignant brain tumor.

As all her friends know, Elizabeth is a fighter, she has always faced a challenge head on and her true grit and determination, along with her sense of humor and wit, has always got her through, however, this is the biggest challenge she has had to face and she will need everyone to help her emotionally and now financially whilst she fights this terrible disease.

Elizabeth has already had brain surgery that has removed a large amount of the cancer but she is soon to undergo combination of Chemo/ Radiotherapy treatment which is going to be difficult for her and Violet.

All Elizabeth's friend's at home and her work colleagues at the Mayflower Medical Practice, where she is loved so much, want to make Elizabeth's journey through this treatment as financially easy as possible, so we are asking for donations so that in between treatments, Elizabeth, Violet and Graham can make happy memories together doing all the things that Elizabeth was planning to do with their daughter.
