Eliza MacIntyre Memorial Fund

It's with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Eliza MacIntyre, who tragically lost her life in a house fire on February 23, 2019 leaving behind 2 beautiful children and 4 grand babies.

Eliza was deeply loved by her large family and community of Glace Bay and we are all grieving this sudden and tragic loss of this amazing woman. Eliza had a beautiful soul - she had the ability to lift you up or make you smile, even though she may have been down herself. She had the type of heart that made this earth a better place and dedicated her life to helping others.

We are heart broken and although there is nothing we can do to turn back time, we are asking friends, family and anyone to help her family the only way we can - to raise funds to cover the costs of a funeral to celebrate the life of Eliza and alleviate the many financial burdens they will face in the upcoming months.

All donations will be received by the beneficiary on this account, Claudette MacIntyre, which 100% of the funds will be used for funeral costs and dispersed to the surviving children.
