I’ve always believed that a watch is much more than a way to measure time. It is a memory, a story, a connection between generations. My love for watches began when my father gave me my first real one. Years later, my mother placed in my hands an old Certina that had belonged to my grandfather. The moment I held it, something clicked. I realised that watches could carry identity, heritage and meaning. That idea became the seed of Aureo. Aureo is my independent watch brand, inspired by Spanish traditions, craftsmanship and the values that shaped my family. I am building it from the ground up, combining heritage with modern design, and creating a brand where the community is not only invited but actively involved. I want people to feel part of the journey, to have influence in the process, and to know that they are helping bring a new chapter of Spanish watchmaking to life. To make Aureo real, I need to take the next big step: creating the first prototypes and the molds that will allow us to begin production. These are not abstract expenses. Every euro raised has a direct purpose and moves the project forward. The funds will be used in three essential phases. First, the creation of 3D technical models and engineering files for the initial Aureo design. Second, the manufacturing of high-precision molds, which are necessary to shape the case, dial, hands and other structural components. And third, the production of the first physical prototypes, which will allow us to test durability, refine the aesthetics and prepare the brand for its first limited run. Due to legal requirements, the beneficiary of this GoFundMe is Isabel Reija, my mother. She will be responsible for receiving the funds and allocating 100 percent of them directly into Aureo’s development. I will keep every supporter updated with transparent reports, photos, videos and milestones as we complete each step of the process.
