Send Our Fighters to Thailand – Support Elite Martial Arts Calgary!
Help us represent Canada on the international stage at the Amazing Muay Thai Festival in Bangkok, Thailand! From June 25–29, our athletes will travel across the world to compete, grow, and showcase the heart of Canadian Muay Thai.
The Opportunity: Amazing Muay Thai Festival
When: June 25–29, 2026
Where: Bangkok, Thailand
This is more than just a competition—it’s a global gathering of elite Muay Thai talent. Our team has the honor of participating alongside Team Canada, representing our country against some of the best fighters in the world.
With over 100 athletes from six provinces across Canada, the level of skill, discipline, and heart continues to rise every year. Canadian Muay Thai is growing fast—and this is our chance to prove that we belong among the world’s best.
The team:
Abdou Haddad
A Muay Thai coach known for his commitment to developing high-level fighters through consistent, disciplined training. Day in and day out, he works closely with athletes at Elite, helping shape their style, sharpen their technique, and build the grit and endurance required to perform under pressure. His coaching emphasizes precision, toughness, and accountability, creating an environment where fighters are pushed to improve and prepared to succeed in competition.
Dylan Rooney (7-0-1)
A 24-year-old criminal justice student who stumbled into Muay Thai through a YMCA kickboxing class—and found a new lease on life. After losing 80 pounds, Dylan’s mission now is to become the best version of himself—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Fighting gave him confidence, purpose, and tools to overcome years of mental health struggles. This tournament is more than a match. It’s proof that we choose our path—and with the right team, anything is possible.
Mark Guerrero (6-3-0)
A 27-year-old piano teacher who found purpose through pain. After years of powerlifting, Mark turned to Muay Thai in 2024 to reclaim his health—and lost over 100 pounds in the process. What began as fitness became a life mission. Mark’s journey is rooted in discipline, resilience, and a Socratic pursuit of human potential. For him, this tournament is a chance to prove that no dream is too late to chase.
