Elise’s Faithful Journey

Hi! My name is Elise. I was born at 28 weeks and weighed 2 lbs 6 ounces. Just days after I was born we learned some very devastating news. I was diagnosed with PVL (Periventricular Leukomalacia) a condition where the white brain tissue near the ventricles softens. This leads to my condition now Cerebral Palsy and epilepsy. Although the odds have been against me since birth I am so determined to be independent and mobile. I have been active in several therapies since birth which include Pediatric Intensive therapy also known as DMI ( Dynamic Movement Intervention), PT and OT. I have done really well with these treatments this far. However, these therapies can only help me live with the damage done. I do struggle a lot with head control and balance so it is hard for me to even sit up. I recently learned about a new treatment option for Cerebral Palsy patients. This treatment is called NeuroCytonix which can regenerate the damaged portion of my brain. The Neurocytron machine focuses on the cause of my condition verses the effects. It stimulates signaling pathways within the cells and encourages the repair of damaged neurons and the connections between them, called neural tracts then restores the lost brain functions. This treatment is only in Mexico at this time and unfortunately not covered by insurance. I will stay in Mexico for a total of 30 days in which an hour each day I will be in the NeuroCytron healing my brain. This will also include several MRIs and EEGs to show brain function and epileptic activity throughout my treatment. I plan to start this journey early to mid 2025. The cost of my treatment is $55,000. My mommy and daddy have done a lot to help me through this battle however the financial obligation of this treatment is substantial.
