On Saturday May 11th John E King was killed, and his 2-month old son and soulmate, Elisabeth, were critically injured in a tragic automobile accident. Her story is a frightening reminder that life can tragically change in an instant. No one is ever prepared for such an incident and words cannot express the devastating loss felt by Elisabeth and her son.
Only having known Elisabeth for a short time, I have witnessed her unconditional love for her beautiful son and also the complete devastation this tragedy has weighed upon her soul. There is no amount of time that would have felt long enough to share with the man she loved so dearly. After just celebrating the birth of their son 2 months ago, their life together was just beginning. As she holds her precious little boy, who is a spitting image of his father, she is reminded of not only what was taken from her but the gift of life that is left behind.
