Elisa Farley's Funeral and Memorial

Donation protected
This is Robin, Elisa's partner.
My heart breaks and I am saddened beyond words to let you know that Elisa left this world today and went to be with God and the angels.
I knew her 30+ years ago when we worked together in an office. She came out to sing with me and just by chance one of my friends video taped us that night. Well, our company disbanded and we lost touch for 30 years until I found her on Facebook during Covid. I told her "you have to come down and see this tape of us singing when we were kids!"
She did, we started singing along with the tape, I picked up my guitar and about 20 songs later we looked at each other and said, we need to do this again.
I learned all about her brain tumor that grew for 29 years before anyone discovered it and her past history of medical issues. Never detered me for a minute. She was still the same Elisa in my eyes.
Needless to say, we started singing together again (I added her to my gigs singing for seniors and memory care people) and come to find out, it's what she wanted to do all along! She said God told her to pay special attention to the people who had memory troubles.
Then she was diagnosed with Glioblastoma which is the worst kind of brain cancer you can get. She sang through 2 brain surgeries, chemo and radiation which is something I don't think I'd have been capable of.
She was my warrior and the best partner I could hope for.
She was a fabulous entertainer, partner and love in my life. She will be missed more that I have words for. I can't cry hard enough.
All the seniors have missed her these past couple weeks that she was unable to perform, but she told me she was going to sing until she couldn't walk anymore, and by God, that's just what she did.
She was also disabled and we lived from paycheck to paycheck entertaining our seniors.
We didn't need lots of money to be happy, but unfortunately now, I do need help to get her cremated and have a memorial for her. The disease went so fast in the end that we didn't have time to plan for any of that.
This is never something you want to do, but I do need your help. Whatever you can give will be much appreciated by Elisa in Heaven and me here trying to take care of things.
It's hard enough to lose a loved one without having to go through this. Please know that every penny donated will go toward taking care of Elisa and planning her memorial (date TBD) for those of you who loved her.
Thank you with all my heart
Robin
