In 2024, our dear friend received a life-altering diagnosis: breast cancer with metastatic disease. Since that moment, her life has been defined by strength, resilience, and an unwavering will to fight.
Over the past year and half, she has endured surgery, radiation, and aggressive ongoing chemotherapy, including the powerful regimen known as the “Red Devil.” These treatments are physically and emotionally exhausting, yet she continues to show up every day — not only for herself, but for her children, her family, and her community.
Despite fighting cancer, she continues to work full-time, determined to provide for her family and maintain stability in the midst of uncertainty. She is a devoted mother, a loyal friend, a hard worker, and a light to everyone around her — someone who gives endlessly to others even when she herself is hurting.
Her medical bills for treatment received between 2024 and February 2025 alone have surpassed $100,000 — and this does not include future care. In December, worsening scans revealed that her fight is far from over, confirming that she will need continued chemotherapy and ongoing treatment in the months ahead.
No one should have to choose between fighting for their life and worrying about how to pay medical bills. Despite health insurance and financial assistance our system remains broken.
We are raising funds to help ease the overwhelming financial burden of her cancer treatment so she can focus on what truly matters: fighting, healing, and being present for her children and grandchildren. Donations will help cover medical expenses, treatments, medications, and the many unseen costs that come with a long-term cancer battle.
If you are able to give, please know that every single donation — no matter the size — makes a difference. If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser means more than you know.
She is still fighting.
She is still working.
She is still standing.
Let’s show her she doesn’t have to do this alone.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
