My accident occured on Tuesday May, 9th 2017. I was at poll vaulting practice after school, and during a vault I landed on my neck/back and rammed my knee into my mouth. In doing so I knocked out one of my front two teeth, and pushed the other two back into my mouth, pulling my gums down. I then went to surgery and learned that the teeth weren't saveable. So they took out my two remaining teeth, and sewed my gums back together, and put in a bone graft for future teeth implants. This surgery alone cost over $1500, insurance only ended up covering $600 of it. The $600 that was covered means that my insurance will only cover $400 more in repairs. The estimate of the cost for the rest of the procedures for implant teeth is between $12,000 to $15,000. These repairs will begin in about 6 to 8 months, after my mouth heals from the first surgery. I am only 18 years old and my mom is the only provider for my family of 5 siblings. I am attending UMSL on a full ride next year to enter into the the field of accounting. Also the school has said they will not be able to help pay for any repairs, so I am on my own for this expense and would appriciate if you could spare just alittle for my sake. Thank you so much!
