Hello, My name is Zach Cornwell. I am trying to raise money to help with my brother Eli's medical expenses. Please allow me to tell you about my brother a little. Eli is 24 years old, he is a father to a amazingly intelligent, funny and electric little boy. He is a son to a mother and father who show unconditional love. Eli is a brother and friend to many that can be called upon no matter the circumstance and will lend a helping hand.
As some of you may know, my brother Eli was in an accident October 15, 2016. He fell out of the passenger truck window doing approximately 30 mph. Eli is now in the ICU for head trauma after he was transferred to Methodist Hospital. He has a fractured skull on the left side of his head, with additional brain bruising on the right side.
Eli has had two different brain surgeries. The first one was successful in removing blood clots and relieving pressure. The second surgery was unexpected due to the amout of pressure that appeared on the right side of his brain. The doctors have removed the right side of his skull to reduce the amout of pressure and allow the swelling to take place without brain damage. He has had good days and bad days, Eli has consistently battled spiked pressures and swelling but his doctors are optimistic that he can make a recovery.
All money raised will go directly towards Medical, Rehabilitation, and any other unforeseen expenses during this journey. Eli has recently started a new profession as a home pest technician. Eli does not have medical insurance and all expenses will be paid for out of pocket.
