Eli's Fund for Miami Music Festival

Hello! My name is Eli Farrell. I am a rising junior at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University studying vocal performance. Recently, I received the exciting news of my acceptance into the prestigious Opera Institute at Miami Music Festival, where I have been cast to perform the roles of Don Basilio and Don Curzio in Mozart's Opera Le Nozze Di Figaro. Additionally, I will have the opportunity to work with and alongside renowned industry professionals from the Metropolitan Opera, Washington National Opera, Florida Grand Opera, and Santa Fe Opera.

Miami Music Festival is a highly competitive summer program for young artists looking to emerge into the professional sphere. It is not every day you get to take voice lessons, participate in masterclasses, and obtain invaluable connections to some of the most notable people in the business. At this stage in my career development, these things are vital to an individual's success. However, the cost of an experience like this is not cheap.

I have created a GoFundMe in hopes of raising $4,000, which will all go toward my tuition cost for the program, room and board, and travel expenses. In addition to my campaign, I work steadfastly as a freelance tutor for children in the Baltimore area and as a singer for the University Baptist Church Choir. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated as it will help mitigate costs and bring me closer to my goal.
