Eli's (FINALLY) having top surgery!

Hi everyone,

We are excited to be planning for Eli's top surgery, scheduled for January 2024! This is nearly a decade in the making, and it is safe to say that Eli is ready. We are thankful to have partial insurance coverage of the surgery, and that Eli will be able to take a medical leave from work at a reduced salary. Even with these benefits in place, we are still paying a sizable amount out-of-pocket for the procedure and recovery. We feel grateful to have a supportive and loving community, in our neighborhood and around the country. For us, this fundraiser will ease some of the financial (and emotional) burden that comes with such an important milestone.

Here is a breakdown of potential fundraising goals:

$2500 - Helps with a portion of out-of-pocket medical costs

$4000 - Covers the better half of medical costs

$6000 - Supports medical leave from work
