Our son Eliot Bennett was an exceptionally happy baby who charmed everyone he met with his chubby cheeks, funny facial expressions, and outgoing personality. He crawled and walked early and loved being taken on hikes, walks, and jogs. We believe he would have become an intrepid adventurer if he hadn’t died unexpectedly from a bacterial infection in early 2019. He was just 10 months old.
Words cannot express how deeply Eliot was loved and how deeply he is missed. In honor of his enthusiasm for the outdoors, we are collecting donations to establish and support programs that connect children with nature.
100% of the money raised here will go to charitable projects, which will be managed by a foundation we are creating. Our plans include:
• Sponsoring nature-based classes and activities for children at Mass Audubon sites.
• Donating a bench to the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail in northern Massachusetts. We took Eliot on walks there.
Thank you for your support!
