Dear family and friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved uncle, Elio Islas. He passed away on December 30, 2020 after fighting COVID-19. He fought until the very end. But God saw that he was tired and came down to lift him up to his kingdom.
Elio touched the lives of so many. He had a happy, playful spirit and was always trying to make everyone laugh. He was an amazing brother, uncle, son, friend, and husband. We are so thankful for the time we had him with us.
We want to celebrate his life and all the joy he brought to us while he was here. He is survived by his wife, our Tia Lucy, and we’d like to support her during this unexpected tragedy. We are raising money to cover the cost of a funeral with a memorial service for him.
This pain we feel is immeasurable. We want to thank you for all the kind words and support you’ve lent our family during this time. Elio will be greatly missed. May he Rest In Peace.

Es con un corazón pesado que anuncios el fallecimiento de nuestro querido tío, Elio Islas. Elio murió el día 30 de diciembre después de una batalla con COVID-19. El lucho hasta el final. Pero Dios vio que estaba cansando y vino a colectarlo para llevarlo a la gloria.
Elio toco las vidas de mucha gente. Elio siempre era muy feliz y juguetón. El siempre quería hacernos reír. El fue un hermano, tío, hijo, amigo y marido maravilloso. Le damos muchas gracias a Dios por el tiempo que estuvo con nosotros.
Queremos celebrar la vida de el y toda la alegria que el nos trajo. Lo sobrevive su esposa, nuestra Tia Lucy, y la queremos apoyar en esta tragedia inesperada. Queremos colectar dinero para cubrir los gastos de un funeral y servicio memorial.
El dolor que sentimos es muy fuerte. Les queremos dar las gracias por todos las palabras amables y todo el apoyo que nos han prestado durante este tiempo. Elio sera extrañado. Que descanse en paz.
