ELIMINATING EXTREME POVERTY IN LALIBELA, ETHIOPIA

Tax deductible
Kevin and Patricia Brabazon founded the LALIBELA FUND on their wedding day and the New York State Intergenerational Network (NYSIgN) now operates the Lalibela Fund and Project. NYSIgN is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
Patricia Henriques Brabazon says: “We have lifted 120 people permanently out of extreme poverty and provide health coverage for over 500. With your help we can double these numbers next year. For more information watch this video:

My husband and I organized the Lalibela Project based on two of the most important principles in Christianity: HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER and LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. High school students help frail and isolated elders with critical services; older volunteers support families under stress; and retired teachers provide educational support for children.”
The Lalibela Project is sponsored by the NGO Committee on Intergenerational Solidarity (an NGO Committee under ECOSOC at the United Nations)
