Elijah’s faith based acting camp opportunity.

Dear friends and family members,

for years, I have thrived on the stage of a high school auditorium. I have performed in musicals and plays that have inspired multitudes of lives. I have made many new friends and acquaintances throughout the years and built foundations for new relationships. But, like all good things, I must begin my journey through life and step out of my shell to embrace the endless possibilities of the future.

This is my junior year of high school and I’m writing to share an exciting opportunity. With my passion for the spotlight, I have felt called to the stage. It is time for me to take one step further into my career and take my talents behind camera. I do not seek fame or fortune, but I aspire to bring my God-given talents to uplift and inspire the audience, and reflect my Christian values onto others.

This summer, I have been accepted into an exclusive Christian Film Camp that will bring together aspiring young actors and seasoned professionals in the industry. The camp is led by Dean Cain, and directed by Jason Campbell, respected names in faith-based films. It is an incredible chance for me to be mentored by Christian actors and directors who are actively making a difference through the media.

Although this sounds nice, opportunities like this come with a cost. We are raising $1,000 to cover the week long camp. During this time at the camp, the camp members will actually act in the film and workshops on acting will take place. I will be given a chance to see firsthand what it is like to be behind a camera. At the end of filming, a watch party will take place in Johnstown in which you all will be invited to attend. We would be grateful for your support of any amount—whether through prayer, a donation, or simply helping to spread the word of the film, titled: Missed Opportunities.
