Hi, my name is Elijah Khalil. I’m currently an independent artist and CNA working to care for my ailing grandfather. After my grandmother passed last year, I wound up losing my income because I was her home health care worker. I’ve had a couple of jobs in the interim, but the job market is tough, and I didn’t find gainful employment again until February of this year. I’ve fallen behind on rent because of this. My roommate and I don’t make enough to cover the lump sum we need to avoid eviction. If you can offer any help, it would be massively appreciated. I just need help covering this initial sum and to get back on my feet.
