Help Elijah Care for His Grandmother & Stay in Nursing School

My grandmother is battling terminal brain cancer, and I am her full-time caregiver. This is the hardest fight we’ve ever faced, and while I wouldn’t trade caring for her for anything, it has left me in an impossible financial situation.

She is on a very limited income, and I don’t want her to have to pay out of pocket for extra care—especially when she needs comfort.

Why I’m Asking for Help

I have some income, but it’s very limited and not enough to cover everything.

I’m in nursing school, my dream, but I’m in jeopardy of not being able to continue because of finances.

I had to take this semester off, not just to care for my grandmother, but also for my own mental health. Balancing full-time caregiving and school became overwhelming, and I needed to step back to make sure I could handle everything.

I have summer online classes, and my next round of school funding doesn’t arrive until September for the fall semester.

I just need enough to cushion me through the next few months so I can continue caring for my grandmother and stay on track for my future.
