The Polnick Family

Hi my name is Ashlyn and I have the privilege of being one of Elijah Polnick's aunts. I am starting this GoFundMe to raise money for my brother Sterling, his wife Emily, their daughter Evangeline, and their son Elijah.

Elijah blessed us with his presence on January 12th at 20 weeks and shortly after his precious birth he went to be with Jesus. From the moment Sterling and Emily found out they were having a baby boy they named him Elijah which means "My God is Yahweh". Elijah's precious life has already been proof of our God's goodness and nearness. Although we are all heart broken, we find comfort in knowing that Elijah will only ever know God as Yahweh and that is every parent's prayer.

For those of you who know Sterling and Emily, you know they are incredible parents and I would love if we could bless them as they not only grieve the loss of their son, but have accumulating financial stress as they did not have medical insurance. For the last three weeks Emily has been off work to allow her body to rest, but in those three weeks there where three separate hospital stays, including the birth of Elijah. As you know any medical intervention is extremely expensive and so are burial costs. If you can donate anything at all to bless this family I know it would be extremely appreciated.

Please continue to lift Sterling, Emily, and Evangeline up in your prayers as they now face a life apart from their son Elijah. For those wondering about a memorial service we will have a private family service to celebrate Elijah!
