Elijah Essen-Hit by a Drunk Driver on Motorcycle

Hi, I am Denise Johnson, and have many titles when it comes to the Essen's. Elijah is 21 years old just this past month and was in a motorcycle accident (yes, he was wearing a helmet). A drunk driver pulled out in front of him. George and Bridget are on their way to Savannah, GA where Elijah is in the hospital. They are flying out this morning. What we all know so far is this:

He is in critical condition

He has significant head and face trama

He is on a ventilator

He is in the ICU

George and Bridget are scared, but their faith is holding on to them tightly as well as their family, their church family and their work family and friends. Prayer Warriors are needed.

I look at this family when I moved and joined St. Pius. Three little boys in the front pew of the church with mom and dad. They were the most adorable family. I watched them grow up, Alter Boys with such reverence. Elijah working at Bumps, loving life with school at Holy Trinity, always a smile on his face. Serving our country in the Army, a great artist.

I would just like to help them out as we all know they have a long recovery road ahead of them. If unable to donate, prayers work well too.
