Elica's going to turkey! #TEAMELICA

Hi my name is Elica Perez and I am raising money to support my year abroad in Turkey! I am a high school senior at J.P McCaskey High School in Lancaster, PA, and one of the lucky students accepted into the Rotary Exchange Program for 2024-25. Rotary Youth Exchange is a program that encourages young people ages 15-19 to attend school in a country of their choice for a whole year, and a student from that country comes to the United States in exchange. I went through a rigorous application process, and I was fortunate to earn a scholarship that covers the following:

Air fare, basic medical insurance, and district fees

Additional expenses I would have to cover include :

Insurance deductible, sim cards, transportation, personal care products, educational materials, culturally appropriate clothing and one mandatory/two optional trips that cost $2620.

I am one of 17 children my parents are financially supporting. I have a part time job at a childcare center to try and make money as well as going to school.
